God likes you around

God likes have you around! Do you like having you around?

What is it within you that makes you special?

To look within yourself means to evaluate who you are. Boy, does this take work…yes indeed!

So if God is satisfied with you, why wouldn’t you be satisfied?

When you were born, you were issued a Certificate. Now I must ask; who are the people that get certificates?
Would you say it is the people of achievement? So do you consider your birth an achievement?

Do you realize what a great fight it was just to be born? Not just to be born, but to be the person that is inside of you to be born.

It is really tough for us as humans to really understand the greatness that comes with a Certificate of Birth.  Most only think of it as a piece of paper for the government to keep record of who is here and who has died, so they can use it for statistics.

When you come to realize all the work that is entailed in your birth, life is a wonderful gift. I understand that many of the world population does not understand the purpose of their life.
I know for sure I did not know, I questioned it constantly, and there are days that I still do. Just exactly, WHY am I here?
Now I know, my passion for my self is gardening and enjoying the gifts that the world has to offer and I know that I want to help others realize their own dreams, to help them find what drives them.

So it is my hope that you will realize that you are a gift from above. You were created to be here and there is something very special about you. There is no one that has the very gift that you have. So be proud, be creative and enjoy your life. Find out what your special gifts are.  Find your passion, because it is within you.

I know that when you look within yourself, you ask the right questions and wait for the answers they will come.  There are so many days that I too struggle, but when I ask the questions I come to a place of acceptance that it is O.K. to be where I am today.

The more I listen the more I grow, the more I fight and resist, the more I struggle.

I hope that you can look within to find who you are. I wish you peace, love and joy.

Decisions

Decisions
So what does decision mean? Webster says this:

Determination arrived after consideration…a conclusion; an act or process of deciding.   Hmm so let’s look at some synonyms: conclusion, award, deliverance, judgment, opinion, verdict and resolution.

So would you say that a decision is making a choice?

Can a decision being made be a result of an action that has taken place and changed the results of a previous decision?

For example, you decide to buy a new car, you enjoy driving your car and then one day you get laid off of work. You have to make a decision based on an action (laid off) that affected your original decision (to buy a new car).
So your new decision is keep the car and figure out how to make the payments, (which is a decision to do nothing); or look at other options of commuting, sell yours and use that money to buy a less expensive car.

Making a decision is something we do all day long, every day of our lives and we take little time to think about the outcome.
Now it may be a small minute decision, but it could have grave consequences on us far down the road. It may even be a very huge decision and bring in great rewards. But a decision to me is a choice.
It affects our families and everyone around us. So please be careful with what you choose to decide. Don’t just look at today and be blinded by your personal insight.

Now I do not want to make you be a fearful person when it comes to taking this action, we can never fully grasp the consequences of our decisions but we can evaluate what the results could be.

So do the choices (decisions) you make have to deal with work, friends, family, and your own personal life? Will they affect you spiritually, financially, emotionally? How will the decisions you make today affect you ten years from now? Now I know we can not see in the future, but what we do everyday affects our future.

It is the decisions we make daily that build our foundations for who we are, change the way you think and it will change your foundation.

It is my hope that you will receive this with an open mind and an open heart. After all, it is your decision….         Wishing you peace, love and joy.

Life is a Puzzle - Part 2

In my first segment I talked about life being a puzzle and the way we look at things and how it all fits together. Today I want to expand just a little.

Working on my puzzle I was having a time trying to get the pieces to work together. Just like any puzzle most start my putting the frame around the outside; which is where I started. Remember me saying that even thought the pieces seem right, are they actually?

Where here is my point. While completing my puzzle the bottom wasn’t right, the pieces did not line up, the colors were off and I had no extra pieces to fit in. So while it seemed right at the time after looking at it further and making an adjustment. I was able to align the pieces correctly and it all came together naturally.

Life is just like that, we think what we are doing is right. We go to work everyday, clean our houses, spend time with family on holidays, eat wonderful food, enjoy what we think are good times. But, there is that something that is missing. We can not see it, because everything seems to fit together, but we can feel it in our gut. Do you ever ask yourself is this all there is? Is his what I am meant to be or do? There has to be more to life then this...

This is where the looking inside of us comes into play. What is in your life that if you changed just a couple of things would make things better? Make a list of what you want and what you do not want. It is a great starting place. Now you have to be careful, because what may seem to be better at the moment may take you on a different path entirely. So as you go, you need to plan, review and adjust. Give it time, because you may run into a few bumpy roads along the way, but just maybe, maybe they are there for a reason.

These are the challenges that create change.

As you are looking at your life, look at your fears, what really scares you?

Are you afraid of commitment? Are you afraid of the challenges of change? Are you afraid of the unknown?  Letting go of that job, forgetting about that raise, moving to a new home, moving forwards in your life and living your spouse and family, moving to a strange and different location; what are your fears?

Make a list of your fears but remember that we all have them. It is part of the process of life, it is how we are able to control our thoughts, see what is going on and make changes.

In my past couple of years I have made many changes, most were challenges that I had to endure, embrace and be thankful for. I went through a divorce, lost everything, lived at my daughters, went through severe, severe depression, and today, I am living on my own by myself for the very first time and enjoying it.
I remember my brother asking me why I was afraid of living on my own; because I have never done it before and I am 59 years of age.

So while the road may seem like you are in the pit of hell, remember that there are better times ahead.

Embrace the challenges, for within the word challenge is the word change.

Here is a video I would like to share, I hope you watch and enjoy it and share it with others~

Embrace it, live life, and always look within to make a change.
