Life is a Puzzle

Recently I have been working on puzzles. This particular puzzle has a direction key printed on the back. When I noticed this I thought that the puzzle is like life.

Are the pieces I am putting together really the right pieces, or do they just take on the shape and seem real?  Then I thought about this, even if the pieces seem real, are they headed in the right direction?
And what about the missing or extra pieces, where do they fit into the puzzle?

These questions really are deep and may take some time to process. I  am already asking other questions, which in turn posses more thought. Humm.

Are things really as I see them; or are there things I don’t see?

Then I ask myself, is life just a perspective of what I see? If so, what changes do I need to make to change my perspective?

In case you don’t know this about me, I am a gardener and I see the beauty in colors of flowers, grasses and the many varieties plus so much more. Actually I am so consumed by plants I can go off on a tangent, but I don’t want to do that here.

What I want to share is that life is beautiful, if you change your perspective.

I am learning many things in my older age; because of the changes in my life I am able to sit, relax and just let my mind wander.
Now there are pros and cons to that. I can sit and think about all the negative stuff in my life and the how’s and whys of it all; or I can change my perspective and think about which direction I want to go.

When I finish my puzzle I am able to look at all the different directions the cuts of the puzzle take; kind of a like road map. I am able to see how all the pieces fit together and what the outcome of the puzzle represents.

A wonder beautiful scene I have never experienced before.

Wishing you peace, love and a new perspective,

Commitment

What is your level of commitment?

There are many things in life we claim to be committed to;
for instance, your marriage, your faith, your family, your job….

When you say you are committed to your spouse  what does that mean?

Does it mean you will stand by him/her in whatever decisions are made, does it mean that no matter how long you are married you will devote all your love, does it mean that you would give your life for your spouse?

What about your job?

Does it mean that you will be there everyday; on time, no excuses for calling in sick? Will do your best everyday, you will provide the best customer service you possibly can everyday?

Will you help fill the gaps of what needs to be done? Will you help others?

What about Faith,

This is personal to each and every person who reads this.

Are you faithful to your “Lord” your “God” your Jehovah, are you committed?

Does it mean that you will pray every day with out fail; does it mean that you will read “your” bible every day? Does it mean that you will live your life with honesty, integrity, ethics and morals?

So I want to ask you, are you committed;
100%, no questions asked.

Or do you have reserves and say, well if things were this or that maybe I would feel better about my commitment.

If that is the case, then you are not committed at all.

You have reservations;
you leave your self a door of escape so you can back out.

It is like saying will maybe; I will try; I might give it a shot….

Commitment means you are 100% all in.

Your undying love for your spouse, ‘til death do you part; You forgive each other and except each other for who you are today.
In your faith, true belief that nothing could possibly deter your faith; to your job, you will be 100% all-in in your work; to your family, that you will be there every possible moment and not let others steal your valuable time and hold you captive for their selfish reasons.

When you build your level of true commitment there is nothing absolutely nothing that will deter you from it.

It is as strong as the foundation under the Empire State Building.

When you have true commitment, you are true to yourself; because it brings you to whom you are inside.

When you are able to see who you are inside you will then be committed to your self to be the very best person that you can be and everything else will fall into place.

So it is my wish to you, that you are able to look inside of yourself,
and ask

Wishing you peace, joy and life freedom,

So Whats UP?

Are You struggling with everyday life?
Do you just want to but head in the sand?
Did you know that we are given different directions in life,
sometimes we come across a really tough one,
so hang on,
because it does get better.
It is all about perspective, how we see or not see what is happening.
Ask yourself-what can I learn from this?
In the end, what is the worst that can happen?

Will I succumb to what is happening
OR
will I take it as a challenge to grow and learn from it?

This is YOUR time to grow and shine.
Let your life shine as bright as a star.
Be empowering so others can see your growth

 God does not create Junk!
We are not on this earth without a purpose,
regain your inner strength.

 We are always growing,
so grow and blossom like
a beautiful
flower!

Growth is such a wonderful thing;
I am so thankful that I was given
this experience that has taught me to grow.

Wishing you all peace, and joy

Fear of Loss

Fear of Loss

How many times have you clicked on something because today
is the last day you can get XYZ item?

How about the infomercial on TV-get it while supplies last?
Or, Get this before the price goes up!

That is called Fear of Loss!

Pre-Launch is Fear of Loss, they play on your emotion to hook you into
buying what they are selling. Even though, it is not something you
would normally do.

Why, do we do that?

Because we are afraid we will miss something.

We don't know what; we just don't want to miss out and be left
behind.

Fear of Loss--NOT for them!

That is what these companies are preying on you for. YOUR MONEY.
And, we jump at the chance to give it to them, no matter how broke we are.

Isn't it about time we took our lives back?

How many companies can you think of that are in control of our lives?

Well, let's take a little look, The Federal Government, they have us believing
that everything is at an all time worst. For who, the stock brokers,
the high rollers.

If you believe it, it will be. So stop listening and live your lives like you normally would. FEAR OF LOSS.

Ok, how about the FDA; they control us by only letting us advertising what
they consider proven.
Which only includes drugs that are manufactured by drug companies.

The stuff that kills people. Fear of Loss-YOU-Not them!

Next, Oil Companies-Well here ya go, if you want to take a trip they want
a piece of your pleasure. Gotta buy gas.

So quit going!.
Due your due diligence and suffer by staying at home. SAVE YOUR MONEY!, It will
be there next year.

When we put our foot down, and say enough is enough eventually and
only if everyone does it; will we get out lives back in this country.

Fear of Loss-you go to work everyday because you are afraid you won't have
enough money.

Fear of Loss-You work everyday so you will have insurance.

Haa, there is another one-Insurance companies-now don't they just grab you where
it really hurts.

Who is really getting rich there?

If they let you get healed, you won't need prescriptions for the drug companies,
and they won't get any of your money. Go figure!

Are you seeing the circle? Government, Oil, FDA, Insurance, Drugs.....Oh, and don't let me forget the Auto Industry.

YOU DO NOT NEED A NEW VEHICLE, OR BOAT, OR JET SKI, OR NEW MOTORCYCLE!

Who cares if they make too many vehicles every year, that is on them NOT YOU!

Who is really running your life? YOU, are you sure?

So take charge, learn how to think for yourself, not what they want you to think!

Fear of Loss!

Learn how to think, not what they want you to think!

Your Attitude says alot about you.

It has been a while since I last wrote and for good reason.

I was having a tough time at work. Not that work is hard, but the people that surround you on a daily basis can really affect your mind.

If you are not careful you can be consummed by what is happening around you. That is exactly what has happened to me.

I was living in such muck, it was like a sponge sucking up muddy water.
It is like being in quicksand and sinking to the endless bottom. It is really tough to pull yourself out.

Thank God I have friends that will listen and help put me back on the right path.

And of course, there is one other that keeps me going and that of course is none other then the Lord himself.

I have said this before, it is tough sometimes to get out of your own way.
Well now I am moving over and moving on, finally. YES!

I have a question, have you ever made a list of what you want and do not want in your life?

I am not talking about money, or material things, but things that are important to you, things that say who you are and what you stand for.

When you make that list, print it out, and put it on the wall where you can see it daily. It will be a strong reminder for you and keep you focused.

Here is another one; do you ever listen to how people talk?

Do they swear a lot, do they sound confident when they speak, or do they sound angry, unsure of themselves.
That also, says a lot about where you are in life.

How is your self-esteeem?

Does it affect your attitude toward others?

When your self-esteem is low, it is difficult to fake it. It shows in your facial expressions, the way to walk and talk, even the way you dress says a lot about what you think of yourself.

So how do you control what goes on around you?

When your self esteem is high, you become a stronger person, more reliant and a better leader. It is a domino affect, low self esteem- treat people and your self crappy. High self- esteem-leads to building others and build yourself.

.Wishing you sucess, one day at a time.

Please feel free to leave your comments.

This weeks subject-Fear

So it seems that this week the subject is about fear. Where does fear come from and how does it resonate from our childhood?

As early as being a toddler we are taught if you do this, this is the consequence.

Touch the fire you get burnt, throw something you get a time out.
Hit someone; you get hit back. Etc. As we grow older those and many more are formed into our hearts and our head.

It gets to the point we are afraid “of our own shadow”.
Did we do the dishes right, did we remember to turn in our homework, is the laundry done correctly?
Did I get the toilet clean enough, is my bed made, did I get the grass cut right? Did I bring in enough wood for the fire tonight?

The list goes on. When you become an adult and have the “privilege” of having a job, you have to not only please your boss, but you co-workers as well.

Did I make enough copies of that assignment for the board meeting?
Hope I wasn’t late.

Did I take too long of a break, did I answer the phone quick enough and say the right things?
Did I get the floors clean enough last night?

Everywhere we turn there are things that impose fear in to our lives. Sometimes it is not much to think about, other times it is horrendous.

Sometimes we live in relationships that are not healthy. Sometimes we live in areas that are not safe, sometimes we are in the wrong place at the wrong time.

How often do you look over your shoulder, are you being followed?
In the parking lot; at the movies; inside the store?

So when does it stop and can you control your fears?

Well as I have just described fear inside of us is life long. We have been programmed from day one. So what we must do; is to unlearn the programming.

It is going to be easy, heck no. It is going to happen over night, no, but it also won’t take you your whole life either.

So your assignment if you choose to accept is this: look at your own life, write down what you fear. Then ask yourself why?

What is at the heart of your fear?

When you have that answer you will begin the process of owning your own life.

So let us all start to undo the programming.
