Success

What does Success mean to you?

For some success means having a great deal of income, whether it is from a company, stocks, or investments. The means of the money is not important, the money is important. For some success is being a leader, being a part of a team who is allowed to make the decisions, direct others, and ultimately be the one who is in charge.

For some of us it is attending school and receiving that diploma, certificate or degree. It is a feeling of accomplishment. It is an end of a goal that has been set, persisted, and achieved. For some of us it is being self-employed.

For some of us it is as "simple" as raising our family and being proud of our children’s accomplishments, watching them grow from little ones to young adults to adults with their own families.

For some of us success is being in control of our own life and making wise decisions. For some of us success is a small entity of achievement. For some of us our success comes from helping others to achieve their life goals, helping them solve problems, help create new ideas, or achieve a dream.

For some of us, success is as simple as driving a fast car, winning a gulf game, learning to be on time, paying your bills and having money left over, cleaning a room long in need of attention, hanging up all our clothes and finishing all the laundry.

So today I want you to think about what success means to you.

If you have achieved “success” are you happy with your achievements? Why or why not?
Is there more that you can do? Are there any changes you would have made or would like to make?
What are they?
Now that you have a list is there anything that you can change now to make a difference in achieving your new goals? What can you do today that will help you succeed tomorrow?

Take some time to answer these questions, ponder your ideas, write them down, look at the pros & cons. Remember to plan, do, review and adjust.

While success comes in many forms, it is for us to decide when we have achieved success; not society.

I hope you read this with an open heart.

Celebrate

It is so wonderful to read what others have written to inspire you, to lead and encourage you. I have learned so much by what others have written, it has really made a difference in my life. So today, I want to celebrate who I am, who I am becoming and more important who you are becoming.

With so much stress and dismay in our lives it is very difficult to stay focused on our own personal dreams and desires. So as you a sitting reading this, take a few minutes to relax; breathe in and enjoy the moment. Let go of work, paying the bills, listening to the kids fight, the TV, and any other outside noises. Just be quiet and still.

So now that everything around you is tuned out, think about what you have accomplished this week. Did you get the laundry caught up, did you take time to read a book, clean out that junk drawer, finish that dreaded report at work, what did you do that you dreaded or were afraid would not get done?  Now again, just settle down and think about how great that feels. Breathe in and relax.

Sometimes we just need to sit and celebrate our own personal achievements. Most things others do not recognize or appreciate and never acknowledge enough to say you did a good job. So I just want you to learn that it is OK for you to complement yourself.

Whoo raahh great and loyal servant, Good Job!  Isn’t it great to just sit and reflect? Be proud of the things you accomplish, and look at the other things you would like to do. But don’t overwhelm yourself with a to-do list. Just concentrate on one thing. One pebble out of the bucket at a time and soon all the pebbles will be gone and the bucket will be empty.
But with each job appreciate yourself for doing it, working hard and accomplishing what you set out to do.

When we have children, we teach them to put their toys away a little at a time. As they learn they start out small and grow to do more. As we become adults we are so busy multi-tasking we forget our basics to start out small.

Start with the baby steps and grow into the wonderful person you are meant to be one day at a time.

Enthusiasm

What is the definition of Enthusiasm?

According to Definitions.net it means:
lively, absorbing interest; a feeling of excitement; lively manifestation of joy or zeal.

So I ask you~~
Are you enthusiastic in what you are doing?
Do you have a burning desire?
Does it lead you?

Or do you approach “it” with dread?
What is the “IT” in your life?

Can you be enthusiastic
about what “IT” is?

Can you pay attention to what it is
that you dread?
Start by asking your self questions.
How Can I....

Life can be wonderful,
If we can change
the way we think.

It is that important.

My new puppy plays with her toy with great enthusiasm.
When she is playing you know it,
she is happy, excited, and full of fun and happiness.
It is so wonderful and fun to watch.

That is what I want to all of us.

To fill exhilarated to get out of bed in the morning.
Make your coffee, drink your milk and eat your breakfast with enthusiasm.

Put down the paper, turn off the news,
read a wonderful book,
spend time with your family,
enjoy life.

Watch the butterflies,
listen to the birds sing,
watch the clouds move
watch the planes fly overhead.

Look UP!

Be happy and glad
in the moment;
be enthusiastic
and
live life.

Moving On

Today is Friday, July 15, 2011 and I want to talk about moving on. Well in my past blogs I have discussed many ideas about working on yourself.  Becoming more, letting go of the past, yes I know you say to yourself how hard it is. And I indeed agree with you, but now is the time for you to become what we have been talking about.

For me, it is becoming the butterfly I was meant to be, you have to decide for yourself what you are meant to be.

For me it was about releasing all the programming that others have bestowed onto me. I have one more step to take, not a very easy one mind you, but none the less it is all about moving forward.

I want to be absolutely free of what others think. Why, because it is not their decision that is important. Remember I have said it does not matter what others think of you, only what YOU think of yourself.

Now is the time to free yourself of all that garbage, free yourself of what others think you need to do, free yourself to be you.

It is so important to listen to your inner self; because that is what is or should be your driving force. That is where you will find the ultimate truth about who you are. It is inside of you, has been all along, now is the time for you to let go and listen within.

Wishing you love, peace and a happy self.

What is your Focus? Does it define you?

Well here it is Tuesday, July 12, 2011 and I am reading yet again another book.

Now this is not the first time I have heard this and I am very sure you have heard the same. “What you think about you bring about.”

Now what does that mean to you?  Please take some time, and really look at what you think about….

For me as I continue on my new journey, I have been changing my thoughts from deep down negative to a more positive approach. I am surrounding my self with a more positive atmosphere with the people I hang around. I am eliminating the negative in my life, one day at a time, one person at a time.

And guess what; it is working.

They say that if you hang out with the people that have what you want you will achieve what your heart desires. But it is so much more then that.

Have you heard the saying “Let go and Let God”? How about; “When the student is ready the teacher will appear”?

Yesterday on a training call, my friend Sarah Thompson was talking about being negative. This wonderful lady as gone from total financial devastation, losing her home and pretty much everything she owns, having major heart attacks, bleeding out internally, literally dying all the while staying surrounded with positive people who supported her, came to her aid, helped her to heal and she is the most uplifting, positive, heart felt, intelligent person I know.

Can you imagine yourself having that kind of inspiration to offer to others? Difficult to imagine isn’t it?

Now how do I know Sarah? Sarah is my direct sponsor; she is the person who I contacted through the Success in 10 Steps e-book.

If you are looking for leadership, training, support, guidance, someone to talk too, friendships to develop, let me know. I can point you in the direction you are seeking. Let me show you how you can learn to inspire others…..

Oh, by the way, what book am I reading now….The Room, by James L. Rubart….purchased through Crossings Book club, I hope you buy and enjoy it.
Also reading…. Developing a Successful Mindset….written by White Dove Books.

Home of Team Catalyst

I have been writing a lot about personal development and looking within ourselves to really begin the process of knowing which road we are on, where we are headed and trying to figure out what are the next paths that we may want to take or change.

As a team member of Team Catalyst I want to share with you an audio of one of my friends Henrietta Hakes.  You can listen to her audio here: Finding Limiting Beliefs

They say that making a change takes doing something over and over for a minimum of 21 to 30 days before it becomes a habit. So the 30 day Mental Cleanse is just the beginning of a change of habits. Overcoming your fears, self-doubt, procrastination, limiting beliefs of yourself is not an overnight process. As I have stated before, it will not take your entire life to make the changes within but it will take time and a lot of effort on your part.

Just reading the book Think and Grow Rich by itself and on your own is great but you will benefit so much more doing lessons on a weekly basis with a group. You will get other peoples perspective; you have the opportunity to read others lessons, you get to evaluate, compare, process, feel and understand those around you.

You will get some really great insight from what others write. You will have some real aaahh moments. You will come to realize that you are not the only one that has the same feelings, thoughts and ideas as you do.

You will begin the process of understanding yourself and those around you. It is an incredible journey, hard at times, but so worth the effort you put into it. Remember the path will not always be easy, there will be some huge boulders in the road, crevices to cross, slithering snakes that need to move over, but don’t forget that also on that path are some really beautiful flowers, butterflies, humming birds, squirrels, and many other things that you make not remember to enjoy. And don’t forget to take your friends along with you for comfort, sharing, insight and love.

If you are interested in learning how to become a part of this great community just email me so we can connect.

I hope you read this with an open heart and I wish you peace, love and joy.

A You a Winner?

So how do you see yourself? Are you a winner?

When you look in the mirror who do you see?

When you look in the mirror can you say “I Love You”?

What does that feel like?
Notice, I did not ask you how you think it feels with your head; but, what is inside of yourself, how does it feel when you say “I Love You”?

Can you look at yourself and say “you did a great job today”?

Do you take what others say about you as real; as if they are the Answer Man?

Do you think you can and others tell you you’re nuts? Do you listen to them?

Are you locked in the chains of OPO?
(others people’s opinions)

Have you ever said or thought I wish I could change my life?

Do you know how or where to start? Refer to question two…that is where you start.

A new job, car, motorcycle, friend, pet…is not going to change who you are inside.

I was reading an article today about the Biggest Loser TV show. I really understood and I wanted to share it with you….

How do you see others around you? Do you see them for the clothes they wear, their shoes, their tattoos, their car, where they work? How do you feel when you think about those questions?

Now that you have read and asked yourself these questions, I hope you take the time to re-evaluate yourself and what you think of others. Write down those questions and really spend some time with them.

So my last question today is this: What happens when you change your mind?

I hope you read this with an open heart, wishing you love, peace and joy.
